Privacy, in plain language
We're a cleaning company, not a data company. This page explains exactly what the website collects, where it goes, and how little of it there is — the short version: we collect only what we need to quote and clean your space, we never sell anything, and our visit statistics are anonymous by design.
1. What you send us on purpose
When you use the booking or contact forms, you choose what to send: typically your name, phone number, email, service details, and your preferred date and area. That message is emailed directly to the owner of Astraleaf Cleaning Services and is used for exactly one thing — replying to you and arranging your clean. It is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third party for marketing.
2. What the site notices on its own
Like nearly every website, this site keeps anonymous visit statistics so we know which pages are useful and how people found us: the page viewed, the time, the device type (mobile or desktop), and the site that referred you. Each visit is counted using a one-way scrambled token so we can tell how many different people visited — the token cannot be reversed into anything that identifies you. We do not store IP addresses, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not follow you anywhere else on the internet.
3. WhatsApp, phone, and email links
When you tap a WhatsApp, call, or email button, you leave our website and use that service directly — from that moment, WhatsApp (Meta) or your phone and email providers handle your conversation under their own privacy policies. We only see what you send us inside that conversation.
4. Optional analytics tools
By default, no third-party analytics runs on this site. If we ever enable an optional tool such as Microsoft Clarity or Google Analytics, this page will be updated to say so plainly. Those tools receive only anonymous usage data (never your name, contact details, or message content) under their own privacy policies.
5. Email and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL)
We email you back about your own enquiry — that's it. We don't send newsletters or promotions unless you explicitly ask, and if you ever ask us to stop, we stop immediately. No purchased lists, ever; our only contact list is people who contacted us first.
6. How long we keep things
Form submissions live in the owner's email inbox, like normal business correspondence. The anonymous visit log automatically trims itself to the most recent entries — it never grows into a long-term profile of anyone.
7. Your choices
Want the message you sent us deleted? Email info@astraleafcleaning.ca and we'll remove it. Prefer to avoid forms entirely? Call or WhatsApp us — those work exactly the same. Because the visit statistics are anonymous and contain no personal identifiers, there is nothing in them to link back to you.
